Iyad leads Khalifeh & Partners’ litigation group as a highly experienced and skilled litigator, having cumulated extensive knowledge of the law and the Jordanian court system over more than 25 years as a lawyer and appointed arbitrator. His practice covers a broad spectrum of claims and arbitration proceedings, including construction disputes, complex corporate matters, banking, enforcement of foreign awards, agency issues, labor matters, intellectual property, maritime, real estate disputes, and both commercial civil and criminal proceedings.

Iyad is also widely recognized for his legislative drafting capabilities, having contributed to the development of numerous laws and regulations, most recently those pertaining to the Civil Procedures Law and Evidence Law. He was appointed, alongside ten judicial members, to improve and amend civil and criminal legal procedures, including the Civil Procedure Law, the Criminal Procedure Law, the Evidence Law, and the Mediation Law.

In addition to his practice, Iyad serves as Head of the Court of Appeal at Jordan Motorsport and has been appointed as an arbitrator in multiple arbitration proceedings. He previously served for four years as a board member of the Military Credit Fund and has been selected by the Jordanian Bar Association to lecture trainee lawyers.
